At Home Acne Remedies
Acne is not only one of the hardest things to deal with physically and emotionally, but at times it can be very expensive as well. Many of the products advertised seem great, but who wants to risk that much money when it may not even work? Below are some steps you can take right at home to help your acne.
Exfoliation is a big help for many acne victims. We all know clogged pores not only cause acne, but they also cause blackheads, which with out a doubt means there is dirt inside that pore. Start by taking half a lemon and sprinkling sugar on top of it. Once the sugar has been somewhat absorbed by the lemon, start lightly massaging it into your skin. The grains help exfoliate your skin getting read of dirt and dead skin cells.
Another great at home remedy comes from toothpaste. Yes, toothpaste helps dry out existing pimples. Take less than a dime size amount of toothpaste, and dab it on the bigger pimples to diminish their appearance. It does not make it disappear, but the toothpaste helps dry it out so that it slightly shrinks.
Ever wonder how to get your pores to open up naturally? Make sure you have a bath towel handy. Take a small pot of water, put a lid on it, and let it heat up on a stove top. Do not boil it. Once you can tell the water is warm, place the towel over your head so that you are completely covered, and then remove the lid. Your face should be at least a foot or more away from the pot still with the towel covering you.
The towel prevents the steam from escaping. The steam opens up your pores so that they can breathe instead of being clogged. After doing this for a few minutes, you can repeat it or proceed to wash your face with warm water. Your pores will be open and your skin soft and easy to wash.
These tips are easy, cheap and oh so helpful, good luck!
