3 Natural Gout Treatments
Chronic gout pain is nothing to sneeze at. It can hurt you physically as well as financially. Long term health problems can range from kidney failure to crippling joint damage. If you have tophi, white nodules on your joints or ears, you are a chronic gout sufferer.

1. Pineapple-I eat pineapple regularly. It has a lot of vitamin C in it and that is great for helping reduce uric acid levels. It also has an enzyme that helps ease pain when I do have an attack. The name of this enzyme is called bromelain. They even use it in some countries to help people with pain who have recently had surgery.
2. Papaya-While I haven’t found any scientific evidence showing papaya treats gout, it does have properties that help treat this disease. Papaya consists of more vitamin C than pineapples. In fact, it has more than 100% of your daily allowance and again, this is important in reducing uric acid levels. Papaya also contains potassium which will help your body eliminate extra uric acid crystals more easily.
3. Cherries-Cherries are famous for getting rid of gout and there are plenty of reasons for this. Cherries have anthocyanins which help clean out joints. They also contain both potassium and vitamin C which are important gout remedies. So they not only help fight an attack, but they also help stop an attack before it begins.
Pineapples, papaya, and cherries are great natural gout treatments that anyone who wishes to try and prevent gout naturally should make sure they eat on a regular basis.
